When I think about life
I see flowers, exploding with colors
And I think, what a paint pallet
God must have.

I see water, from the tiniest trickling brook
To the vastness of the oceans
And I think, what a deft hand at measuring
God must have.

I see love, spanning time
From the moment of birth, to the moment of death
And I think, what an overflowing heart
God must have.

I see change, people adapting, most helpful
But some hurtful with their selfishness
And I think, what a vast amount of patience
God must have.

And for all of this,
I am grateful.
